About us

The Elk-Camden Garden Keepers was founded in 1998 with three goals in mind: bring together both beginning and experienced gardeners, improve our ability to grow food for our families, and have fun with other like-minded gardeners.

Through monthly meetings with educational programs, and neighborhood garden tours, we increase our gardening skills and knowledge, and laugh a lot with our weed-infested gardening friends.

Our community outreach activities include annual plant sales,”dirty hands” classes with elementary school students, and donations to local organizations with goals similar to ours.

We meet monthly in the Camden Grange #687 (located at 21 Elk-Camden Road, Elk, Wash.) at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday, from March through October of each year. Our meetings, tours, and other activities are always open to the public, and we encourage gardening parents (and grandparents) to bring their young gardeners.
