My garden in July

I have a big funky garden on an east-facing slope above Elk.You can see the volunteer dill in yellow-green drifts across the middle, trying to take over. My house rabbit loves dill. There are lots of green tomatoes – we've even had a handful of ripe ones. The oregano has spread in great patches and is blooming furiously. Rabbits like it, too. Probably half the stuff in the garden is for the rabbits, now or dried for winter.

What the heck is that yellow-flowering plant? We can't remember.

Some of the cabbages are big this year. That's Earl in there for scale. Guinea hens have been "pruning" the smaller cabbages.

Club members, send me your photos, and we'll post them here. It'll be like an armchair garden tour, only you have to provide your own snacks. Earl is available to add scale. (Yes, he works for scale.)
